よくある質問
Precautions for Wearing Kimono
● Please do not wear perfume as it can stain the kimono and be difficult to remove.
● For summer heat protection: bring drinks, sweat wipes, cooling sheets, a parasol (parasols are available for rent), and a handy fan. Please apply sunscreen to your arms, etc., before putting on the kimono.
Summer Innerwear
● Yukata and summer kimonos are thin, so your undergarments may be visible depending on the kimono you choose. We provide kimono undergarments (hadajuban), but we recommend wearing plain or lightly patterned innerwear (top and bottom).
● For men, we recommend V-neck undershirts.
Winter Innerwear
● On cold days, we recommend wearing warm innerwear (top and bottom) under your kimono.
● Recommended items include scarves, gloves, and kairo (heat packs). We do not recommend adhesive heat packs due to the risk of low-temperature burns.
● Haori (jackets) and shawls are also available as optional items (for women only).
