Things to note when wearing a kimono
●Do not wear perfume or other liquids as they will not come off if they get on the kimono.
● To beat the summer heat, drinks, sweat wipes, cooling sheets, parasols (parasols are available for rental), and handy fans
*Please apply sunscreen to your arms etc. before putting on your kimono.
Summer innerwear
●Yukata and summer kimonos are thin, so depending on the kimono you choose, your underwear may be visible. We also provide kimono underwear, but we recommend that you wear innerwear with a minimal pattern.
●For men, we recommend a V-neck inner layer.
Winter innerwear
●On cold days, we recommend wearing a warm inner layer underneath your kimono.
Recommended items include scarves, gloves, and hand warmers.
*We do not recommend using stick-on heating pads as there is a risk of low-temperature burns.
●Haori and shawls are available as options (women only).
